This summer, local first responders in Chicago completed hands-on exercises aboard the CSX RIT Train while learning about the equipment and steps necessary to handle a rail-related incident safely. Did you know CSX operates between 850 and 1,100 trains a day on CSX track enabled with Positive Train Control (PTC)? Since its implementation, PTC has helped ensure our trains are operating safely throughout the communities along our network, and we’re only getting started.
